U Chicago Scientist Discusses How miR-200
miRNA Family Influences Cancer Progression

The study, reported in the April 1 issue of Genes & Development, shows that miR-200 directly targets the mRNA of two transcriptional regulators of E-cadherin, a transmembrane protein associated with cancer progression.
