Opko, Frost Group Ask Court to Dismiss
Conspiracy Charges in Suit Filed by Rival

Opko, responding to a lawsuit by rival Ophthalmic Imaging Systems charging it with conspiring with a former employee to interfere with OIS’ business activities, told the judge that the activities were part of standard business practices. It also said OIS’ case is weak because it “relies on secondary theories of liability.”
